Liz reisch picarazzi
CitiBin was created by Liz Picarazzi, who could not find a durable and attractive enclosure for her own trash. She didn't like the plastic, wood, and metal trash sheds on the market, so she created her own. Her trash enclosure was such a hit on her own Brooklyn block that she made CitiBin a sister business of her handyman company, Checklist Home Services. In previous lives, Liz was a marketing executive at American Express and an election monitor in Russia and Ukraine. Liz likes to make and start things, and play with her daughter, husband, and 2 cats.
An architect and carpenter, Mario arrived in New York City in 2014 from the German town of Münster, between Düsseldorf and Hamburg. Mario leads design, planning, and fabrication for CitiBin. A relative New York newbie, Mario enjoys taking in the tourist attractions, playing baseball, and watching the sun set in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
CitiBin's second employee, Isac, joined as an assembly assistant and now leads production in the shop and assembly in the field. A graduate of APEX, Isac likes learning new carpentry skiills working alongside Mario. When not commuting from the Bronx to the CitiBin shop in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Isac maximizes his time with family and friends.
Ismail joined the CitiBin team in summer 2016, and quickly proved himself to be a skilled carpenter and installer. He now primarily works as a handyman with CitiBin's sister company, Checklist Home Services, but still installs CitiBins as needed. In his free time, he likes to cruise around on his skateboard, design and build furniture.
Tasha first joined CitiBin's parent company, Checklist Home Services, as a bookkeeper, quickly rising through the ranks to become Operations Director. When she isn’t working, Tasha loves taking her 4 kids camping and to water parks.
