Round Rock's Parks Department was staring down a major renovation with one unsolved problem: aging steel waste baskets that had seen better days. They needed something that could take the Texas sun, stand up to rough weather, and actually elevate the look of their parks—not just fill a hole in the ground.

After receiving a CITIBIN sample, the parks team immediately recognized the difference that high-quality aluminum construction and a weather-resistant finish makes. They piloted a 2-module Large unit in March 2024. The public noticed. Parks personnel noticed. The feedback was clear enough that Round Rock came back in August 2025 with an order for 16 units, installed by November to continued approval. They've already committed to expanding into their downtown area in summer 2026—a partnership that started with one sample and grew from there.
